Founded in 2005, Periódico Arteria is a specialized platform for plastic and visual arts that, for over two decades, has contributed to research, dissemination, circulation, and promotion of art and culture in Colombia. Under the direction of cultural manager, curator, and art critic Nelly Peñaranda, Arteria has built an extensive network of relationships with artists, curators, academics, managers, institutions, and audiences. It produces content and projects that help democratize access to art and strengthen the Colombian cultural ecosystem. Its work extends beyond specialized journalism through initiatives in audience development, research, circulation, exhibitions, and cultural management—consolidating meeting places for different regions, generations, and perspectives of artistic creation.
