Founded in Bogotá in 1987, Academia de Artes Guerrero boasts over three decades of experience in education, creation, and cultural project development. Its educational model integrates technical, conceptual, and human dimensions of art, understanding artistic practice as a tool for personal and social expression, knowledge, and transformation. Grounded in a methodology tied to the Pedagogy of Interiority, the artists address personal realms such as the body, childhood, grief, the unconscious, memory, and ways of inhabiting space.
