Permanente is an arts space located in the art district of Bogotá, Colombia. Created to offer an alternative for new artistic proposals, Permanente positions itself as an independent non-profit space interested in intertwining different ways of making and conceptualizing art—focusing on promoting processes that differ from the conventionalisms proposed by commercial institutions. Aware of the importance of activating the circulation of Colombian art on the international scene, Permanente plans to offer artist residencies in exchange with similar institutions, artist studio rentals, and occasional invitations for national and international artists, as well as independent curators, to develop projects.
