Founded in Bogotá in 2020, Cúrcuma Art Center is an independent contemporary art platform located in the San Felipe Creative District, conceived as a hub for encounter, experimentation, and activation of emerging creation. Defined as a incubator and accelerator of creativity, Cúrcuma generates opportunities for artists, galleries, curators, and independent projects, promoting new ways of producing, exhibiting, communicating, and connecting art with diverse audiences. Its model turns the exhibition space into a dynamic laboratory where exhibitions, curatorial projects, cultural experiences, and interdisciplinary proposals can develop. Rather than limiting itself to representing artists, Cúrcuma seeks to create the conditions for art to happen, fostering exchange between creation, circulation, experimentation, and collecting.
