What is UN_FAIR?
UN_FAIR Tequendama is a modern and contemporary art cultural experience that transforms Bogotá’s Tequendama International Center into a venue for artistic circulation, offering an unparalleled experience.
Held at the Tequendama International Center—one of the city's most iconic architectural and urban complexes—the fair employs non-traditional formats for exhibiting and selling art to make use of this heritage infrastructure. UN_FAIR Tequendama stages exhibitions in the complex's commercial spaces, creates public art interventions in its plazas, and utilizes suites at the Hotel Tequendama Suites as art galleries.
More than just a fair, UN_FAIR Tequendama is a cultural ecosystem that integrates visual arts with live music, gastronomy, and other modern and contemporary experiences to foster a broader dialogue among culture, the city, and its audiences. Its model activates heritage and urban spaces within the Internacional Tequendama complex, transforming them into venues that showcase artists and cultural agents while strengthening creative economies.
The inaugural edition of UN_FAIR Tequendama, held in 2025 alongside the first Bogotá Art Biennial (BOG25), confirmed the potential of this initiative. Over the course of six days, the fair brought together 18 national and international galleries, presented more than 50 free-access artistic interventions, and reached over 950,000 people through its various platforms and activations at the Tequendama International Center. Regarding its commercial aspect, 95% of the participating galleries recorded sales, demonstrating the fair's ability to generate value for both the art sector and its partners.
Based in Bogotá, UN_FAIR Tequendama works to establish itself as a leading platform for modern and contemporary art in Latin America, strengthening connections among artists, galleries, institutions, collectors, businesses, and audiences. Each edition expands opportunities for circulation, exchange, and collaboration, reaffirming the role of culture as a driver of urban transformation, economic development, and international visibility.
